We believe that every child in our community deserves access to high-quality, sustainable play. As a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation, we rely on the generosity of our community to keep our shelves stocked with toys that spark curiosity, joy, and development.

Whether you are a current member, a local business, or simply someone who believes in the power of play, your donation helps us replace worn-out favourites, expand our collection to meet new interests, and keep our library running smoothly for all our local families.

🎁 OUR WISHLIST 🎁

We are currently aiming to raise funds for the following items to grow our collection and improve our service:

STAPELSTEIN BALANCE STEPPING STONES - approx $365

Boosts Physical Development: These stones are the perfect tool for toddlers and preschoolers to master balance, core strength, and coordination through active, confidence-building play.

Endless Imagination: Far more than just stepping stones, they are truly open-ended—kids love using them as drums, seats, sorting bowls, or even "rafts" during water play.

The Ultimate Space-Saver: Because they nest perfectly inside one another, they provide our members with a massive, full-scale obstacle course experience that takes up almost zero storage space at home.

GONGE BODY WHEEL - approx $440

Develops Core Stability: As children navigate the wheel, they must engage their entire body to balance and maintain motion, which is fantastic for developing core strength and posture.

Encourages Sensory Integration: The rolling motion provides excellent vestibular input (the sense of balance), helping children understand their body’s position in space while building confidence through movement.

Builds Social Skills: It’s a wonderful tool for cooperative play! Children often learn to take turns, work together to push the wheel, or cheer each other on as they build an "adventure course" using this as the centerpiece.

Because Scarborough Toy Library is a community-run initiative, we are unable to issue tax-deductible receipts for direct donations. However, you can still support us via our parent body, Toy Libraries Australia, through their secure GiveNow platform.
